WESTEC 38 TON SELF-CONTAINED TRUCK UNLOADER
Westec’s large capacity drive-over truck unloader designs allow producers to keep their trucks on the move by unloading 600 to 1200 tons per hour of material. Consisting of a 28 yard heavy-duty hopper with drive-over grid and 30" checker plate walkway and an adjustable hinged steel plate control gate which regulates the flow to Westec’s heavy-duty channel frame conveyor, this configuration can streamline your production and make the most of your trucking fleet.
WESTEC TUNNEL TRUCK LOADOUT CONVEYOR
Do you need a larger active surge pile to prevent downtime?
Westec’s Tunnel loadout conveyors provide a simple and effective solution to
material supply problems.
Available in a host of sizes and engineered of fabricated structural steel, this versatile piece of equipment is made up of the tunnel itself, our heavy- duty loadout conveyor, an extra large recieving hopper and our hydraulically controlled double clam gate.
Available options include air clutch with compressor for rapid cycle times, belt scales with loadout controls, 6’ high bulkead, 10’ wide winged side walls, electric controls and impact bed for heavy-duty applications.
WESTEC PORTABLE HOPPER/FEEDER
Featuring a 16 yard/ 22 ton hopper constructed of heavy plate steel with adjustable gate, an electric drive motor with variable speed drive and capable of moving 200-1000 tons per hour, this versatile unit provides a great option for the producer.
Highway legal and ready to move to your next job, Westec’s Model HD-30 portable hopper feeder is equipped with a pintle hitch and 22,000# adjustable wheel axle assembly.
WESTEC HEAVY-DUTY LOADOUT BUNKER
Versatile, transportable and highly efficient, Westec’s 45 yard/ 60 ton loadout bunker may be just the solution your operation needs.
The 13’ x 15’ structural steel hopper is reinforced and furnished with a flow regulating control gate that directs the material to a 42" loadout conveyor. The portable trailer is fabricated of structural steel wide flange and tube members and includes fifth wheel attachment, 22,000# single axle suspension, air brakes, and highway transport kit.
WESTEC SKIDMOUNTED HOPPER/FEEDER
Tried and true, Westec’s skidmounted hopper/feeder is a standby at Northwest aggregate plants.
Available with a 12 to 16 yard hopper manufactured with a heavy- duty design and capable of moving 200-800 tons of material an hour this is a work horse. Our hopper/feeder features a stationary or hinged grizzly, impact rollers and variable speed drives all selected to suit your application. Skid mounted or portable design allows you to move the unit around your plant onto the highway as needed.
WESTEC HEAVY-DUTY DOZER TRAP
Producers can make the most of their dozers with Westec’s heavy-duty dozer trap.
Our skid-mounted dozer trap enclosure with tunnel wing walls and bulkhead allows dozers to push material into the receiving hopper with adjustable control gate. The gate controls the material flow to a 30’ channel frame feed conveyor with 25-50 horse power drive with rubber disk impact idlers, heavy-duty screw takeup and roller bearing pillow blocks.

Dave Christiansen has taken to the field in his new position as an outside salesperson for Westec.
"After two years as Westec Industries’ Parts Manager," said Christiansen,

Westec Sends Two To World of Concrete 2000
Industry leaders exhibiting top quality products and a steady stream of visitors created a high-caliber, winning combination at World of Concrete 2000, held February 21 to 24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.Westec President Ed Christiansen and Vice President Roger Hill were just two of the 55,000 visitors to this major commercial construction show. All had plenty to see in the 650,000 net square feet of colorful indoor displays and energetic outdoor Action Exhibit areas. Complementing the massive exhibits, filled with new products from 1,460 exhibiting companies, were three days of live-action Mega Demos with the latest field techniques and an 83-session educational program. The event is the industry’s largest annual international show on commercial concrete.
